Common Goals and Feeling the Love

This week’s New Moon falls in the sign of Aquarius.

Aquarian energy is aligned with common goals, group support, humanitarianism and the Vision.

This is a great New Moon to re-connect with your why.

Why are you doing the things that you’re doing and why are you striving for the goals that you’re currently going after?

If you’re responsible for (or are part of) a group of people now is a great time to start afresh on a new footing and this is a great month for an inspiring leadership talk or a team meeting about the future direction of the company/project/group.

With Venus conjunct Neptune in compassionate Pisces the month ahead holds a beautiful soft, compassionate energy.

What do those around you need from you?

Can you see beyond individual patterns and behaviours?

Eclipse Season and the Possibility of a Healthy dose of Projection

If things have been a little hairy or intense of late then remember we are in our first Eclipse season of 2018 – intense times indeed.

Eclipse energy can really illuminate our shadow side – like a Full Moon on steroids, so if you’ve had a tough time of it this last few weeks or you’re butting heads with family, friends, lovers, colleagues, the post man…

…you may just be experiencing a healthy dose of projection.

What is this situation showing you – about yourself?

If you find yourself blaming others or going into victim mode, take a deep breath and explore what the situation is really showing you about you.

Some of the negative aspects of Aquarian energy that may come to light now are:

  • rigid thinking,
  • fixed opinions (or the tendency to be overly opinionated),
  • believing oneself to be too different to ever get on with others (potentially leading to isolation/loneliness)
  • believing oneself superior or more ‘evolved’ than those around them,
  • excessive rebellion,
  • the need to shock others

Progressive Ideas/Out of the Box Thinking

Mercury is also in Aquarius and sits alongside the Sun and Moon bringing the potential for out of the box ideas, progressive thinking and a lightening-fast mind.

This is further enhanced by Uranus forming a harmonious sextile with all 3 – enlightenment, awakening and the potential for surprising and beneficial changes are all there for those who wish to take the opportunity and tune into that.

Shifting Stuck Patterns

If you find yourself going round and round at each Full Moon/Eclipse in the same modes of behaviour and if you’re struggling to know what to do to move forwards, I highly recommend seeking out a coach/healer/therapist, who is trained to help you in the way that you need.

I am truly blessed to have Jane at Soul Clarity to work with and to help me to navigate my life.

Over the last 7 months, she has helped me to make so much progress.

Her techniques are so magical and powerful.  The tools that she has taught me have been nothing short of miraculous.

I really don’t know how I’d have navigated this time without her.

There are many wonderful healers around on this Earth and we’re all in need of a little help, so I encourage you to look for one that resonates with you, if you feel called to do so.

I really believe that you can change whatever is going on for you. You just have to take the steps.

Jane can be found at http://www.soulclarity.com.au.

Busy, Busy, Busy

With Jupiter in Scorpio squaring The Moon, The Sun and Mercury there is a lot of potential for growth and opportunity.

This Month holds the energy of hope and optimism, but there is also the likely tendency of feeling overstretched.

No matter what’s going on in your life, remember to take time for you.

Be Mindful of Your Actions

With Venus and Mars both placed in Jupiter’s ruling signs and squaring one another it’s wise to hold back a little before acting and to first consider those around you.

To not do so could lead to a lack of tact and hurt feelings.

Placing your hand on your heart and checking in with your heart-space before interacting could work wonders in mitigating potential relationship angst or a case of putting one’s foot in it.

There’s also a note here to be mindful of your footprint as you go about your daily life. Are you actions taking care of the Earth, your people and whatever you see around you?

“Are you helping the problem or are you contributing to it?”

Tender Feelings and Heightened Intuition

With Chiron also joining Venus and Neptune in Piscses you (or those around you) could be feeling tender and extremely sensitive this month and may find yourself re-visiting past hurts.

There is also the potential for heightened intuition, mystical experiences and with so much Jupiter energy around the call to adventure could be strong…

… where will your own personal journey take you next?

With Mars and Venus both square to Neptune the blurring of boundaries could be an issue as could the tendency towards unrealistic expectations.

Idealism is beautiful to aspire to, but remember that true unconditional love lies in loving a person or thing exactly as they are.

If you find focus challenging this month or feel that your energy appears to be depleted quite easily you could have Neptune to thank for that also.

Playing music, swimming in natural bodies or water; such as the Ocean and Meditation will all help to re-energise and centre you.

You might also need to more strongly protect your own emotional and psychic energy this month.

Express Yourself and Confidently Follow Your Heart – New Moon in Leo – August 2017

New Moon in Leo - August 2017

A Second New Moon in Leo – Are you Listening to your Heart?

Yes, you read the title right –

We have yet another Leo New Moon falling this month.

If you’re not feeling the Leo-vibe yet then that would be surprising!!

Leo is all about shining as the person you are and radiating your pure, true essence out to the World.

Leos love to be seen and admired and they have HUGE heart energy, so I hope you’re connecting with your own heart and following it to where it’s guiding you.

That path leads to some serious fulfilment, so what are you waiting for?

Solar Eclipse and the Potential for Change

This New Moon is the second eclipse of this particular eclipse season and also our final eclipse of the year.

The last Full Moon (in Aquarius) was a Lunar Eclipse, which usually tends to bring changes from within (instigated by our own inner promptings) whereas this one is a Total Solar Eclipse, which tends to bring external events to us; such as people, opportunities or events, so watch for what is happening in your life between now and the next 6 months.

Perhaps there’ll be an opportunity that arises that helps to push you more into who you really want to be…

Potential Mix Ups and Fix Ups, Refinement and Repair

Watch for miscommunication and confusion arising now, as Mercury (currently retrograde) is conjunct this New Moon.

What are these teaching you? There’s always a lesson, so release blame and take responsibility for what’s going on around you right now.

What do you need to change?

Mercury Retrograde can also signify review, a re-going over, a refinement… Just think ‘re’ words!!

So, with that in mind, do you need to refine some skills to get to where you want to be?

Do you need to check out some venues, retreats or perhaps a course that will take you in the right direction?

Practical matters may also be calling for your attention now, so take time to sort out any paperwork, D.I.Y or financial matters.

Mercury Retrograde can also go hand in hand with faults appearing around the home and car, so calling in a skilled tradesman may also apply.

Remember that your home carries energy too and attending to those issues can really improve the flow in the particular area of life that the appliance applies to.

For example, the connection of dripping taps with leaky finances in Feng Shui.

With the Jupiter/Pluto square now starting to wane, you may find that you have a little more free time to go back over anything that you feel was rushed since 2017 began.

Maybe a tight project deadline required a quick fix that can now be re-visited…

Health Matters – Time for a Rethink or Retune?

Your health may also be in the limelight this month.

What could do with a tune up there?

What needs to happen so that you can rejuvenate and re-energise yourself?

Remember – Leo energy is about impressing!!

Is it time to regain your sparkle?

You really can heal yourself from almost anything and plenty of people are doing it, so please don’t feel overwhelmed or in despair if you’re health isn’t where you need it to be.

Look for the right people and trust the path.

As a wonderful Astrology teacher of mine once said:

“Illness is a journey”… “Your body knows what to do”

Babula Clement

Just make sure you’re heading in the direction of wellness and let your body’s prompts take you there.

It knows what it can and can’t tolerate and it knows how to repair itself.

It just needs you to help it and yes, you may need to find the right people to help you with the wisdom of that.

You grew in your mother’s womb. Your body knew where to place your organs and your head and your limbs.

Your body is amazing and you can help it to be its best and support it to support you.

Confidently Shine Your Light. It’s time to Radiate!!

This eclipse also occurs on the North Node indicating that there’s going to be a strong push towards shining your light.

What needs to be incorporated to help you to do that?

With Mars (also in Leo) up-close and personal with the New Moon/Eclipse energy it’s time to take action of those plans.

What actions will give you a sense of pride and accomplishment?

Mars will also be boosting your sense of confidence, so have courage and express yourself and your creativity with flair.

With a Grand Fire Trine between the New Moon, Saturn/The Black Moon and Uranus it’s time to face your fears and go all out.

You never know, hard work now might just bring through some surprising changes later on!!

Act on inspiration and Seize the day!!

Actions will always speak louder than words.

Yes, in the short term, that may mean working two jobs whilst you find your feet or putting yourself in a position that gives you some initial discomfort, but is holding yourself back with a barrage of excuses really going to make you feel any better?

Healing Emotional Blocks

If you’re feeling any emotional blocks; such as lack of confidence, debilitating fear, a lack of worth then you may wish to consider seeking out a healer to help you  to move forward.

Think modalities such as: Homoeopathy, Kinesiology, Counselling…

You may also like to book a Bush Flower Essence consultation with me.

Full Moon in Pisces and Lunar Eclipse September 2016

pisces-full-moon-and-lunar-eclipse-092016

This weekend brings with it our Full Moon in Pisces, which is also our final Eclipse of 2016.

Full Moons (when the Sun and Moon oppose one another in the sky) tend to illuminate our unconscious behaviours and this can be especially strong when the Full Moon is also an eclipse (like this one).

What’s coming up for you this week?

The Need for Compassion and Release

Pisces is a sign associated with letting go and surrender and this message is amplified with this eclipse being a South Node eclipse – what do you need to relinquish?

The build up to any Full Moon can see an increase in energy, but with sensitive Pisces; sign of compassion, finality and oneness in the hot seat and with this being a lunar eclipse, which can intensify our emotions, don’t be surprised if you’re feeling tired, overwhelmed or even exhausted.

Sleep can bring healing so honour its need if you’re feeling this way and rest as much as you need.

Ocean swims or warm salt baths may alleviate any tension and help to put you back at ease once more.

Take the time to ponder and to check in with your feelings.

Writing them out may help.

Honour Your Feelings and Face Your Fears

Chiron in Pisces conjunct the Moon is further turning up our sensitivity right now and Saturn is also squaring the nodes pushing us to acknowledge any tendencies to depression or melancholy as well as giving us the impetus to further acheive our ambitions.

Our own fear can be the issue with keeping us stuck so if you’re being pushed in this way it may initially appear difficult or hard.

Remember that growth tends to come from meeting our fears head on and rising to challenges so keep the faith, take a deep breath and go for it.

We’re all in this together and I know that if I can do it – so can you!!

Is it Time to “Let Go and Let God”?

With this Full Moon forming a T Square with Mars, you may be getting the message that a tendency to want to control situations is getting you nowhere.

Is it time to let go a little?

With Mars also trine to Uranus, opening to faith and trust and the process of ‘letting go and letting God’ may bring surprising results this week.

Focus on Service Rather than Fear

Pisces can highlight feelings of victimisation, but with Mars disposited by Jupiter in Libra  perhaps frustrating personal situations can be alleviated by focussing your energy on what you can do for others instead.

This approach can also help to dissipate fear, as we take the focus off of our own performance and onto the service of others.

Watch your Words

With Mercury (still retrograde) making strong contact with this Full Moon along with Jupiter in Libra there may be lessons to be learnt around communication in relationships.

Perhaps you’re being shown a critical or harsh side of yourself that you haven’t noticed before or perhaps that contact to Mars is bringing up some anger that was previously suppressed?

Are you chasing perfectionism and holding back until things are just right?

Are you defeating yourself with negative self talk?

Really think about how you use your words this week.

Are they positive or are you keeping yourself locked in negative patterns by going into drama or using fear-based words?

Better to acknowledge such energy rather than to push it away, as suppressed energy tends to grow rampant.

Energy that we accept and own, however, tends to shrink in the light of acknowledgement.

What Opportunities/Possibilities are Arising – “As One Door Closes…”?

The Sabian Symbols are interesting for this Sun and Moon. The Moon is on Pisces 25: “The Purging Of The Priesthood” and The Sun is on Virgo 25: “A Flag at Half-Mast In Front Of A Public Building”.

Maybe something is passing away or coming to a close this week.

There may be the need to acknowledge what is passing from your life; a phase, a person or a group.

Perhaps it’s time to let go of an old way of being and to surrender to the moment – to the infinite possibilities that you can now create instead of remaining stuck in that fearful space.

The Moon’s opposition to Jupiter in Libra (also ruler of this Moon) is pushing us to consider how we may bring more balance and beauty into our lives and our relationships.

This connection may find some of us striving for greater freedom and we may be presented with opportunities that afford us greater growth so keep your eyes open and look for doors that close and doors that open.

Further Help

Remember to look at the houses that the Full Moon is highlighting within your personal chart for an indication of where this energy will be felt most strongly.

Also look for planets around 24 degrees to see if these are being triggered by this Lunar Eclipse.

You can obtain a free copy of your chart and a free copy of my E-Book “Introductory Tips for Astrological Self Awareness” here if you’d like further help with understanding the meaning of that house placement.

Eclipse energy tends to stay with us for 6 months depending on how strongly that it affects your personal chart.

If you’d like help with exploring and healing your emotions or with shifting a pattern that keeps appearing within your life you may wish to book in for a Bush Flower Essence Consultation with me.

Amp up the Beauty

With Venus in Libra being the final dispositor of this Full Moon you may like to purchase yourself some flowers this week or look at other ways that you can invite more beauty into your life.

September’s New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Virgo – Time for Practical Solutions?

As Mercury brings unconscious behaviour_situations to light, what practical solutions will you put in place.png

August’s New Moon (also a Solar Eclipse) falls on September 1st, which is the first day of Spring for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere and of Autumn for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere.

A Powerful New Moon and a New Season.

Beautiful.

New Moon’s offer us the chance to set intentions for something new within our lives.

Whereas, Solar Eclipses tend to be experienced as external events, which illuminate an area of our life; bringing previously hidden/unacknowledged behaviours or circumstances to light.

For example, through events and/or people.

What will this Eclipse bring forth for you to acknowledge and in which area of your life is it falling?

Look for where 9 degrees and 21 seconds falls within your natal chart and check the house (area of life) in order to ascertain this.

If you need further help with this activity, my E-Book “Introductory Tips for Astrological Self Awareness” can help. You can claim your free copy here.

Bernadette Brady in her work on the Saros Cycles tells us that the energy of this particular eclipse is about truth; about getting real and seeing a situation for what it truly is.

If we choose to work with what has been highlighted it can be a productive time.

With all the Virgo energy in play at this New Moon health or healing could well play a part.

Virgo (also being a realistic sign) offers the chance to get practical with problem solving and you may find that others can help with something that may otherwise be a struggle.

The Sabian Symbol for this Eclipse/New Moon is: Virgo 10: “Two Heads Looking Out And Beyond The Shadows”

This speaks of ‘Two Heads often being better than One” when it comes to seeking a solution.

The Moon’s T Square with Neptune and the Saturn/Mars conjunction indicates that it may be important to get clear on what it is that you’re trying to achieve; to remain true to your own path. Therefore, avoiding the tendency to be swayed by others, lost in brain fog and getting nowhere.

Strengthening your intuition and connecting to your heart can often increase faith, clarity and ‘an instinctive knowing’ of which path is the right one for you; leading to focus and confidence in moving forwards.

Too much mind energy can cause procrastination and fear, so be mindful of needless worrying.

Mercury (still in his introspective phase of the retrograde) is ruler of this Moon and is currently on Virgo 29: “A Man Is Gaining Secret Knowledge From An Ancient Scroll He Is Reading”.

This symbol intimates that there is no rush.

Take some time out in reflection; to meditate, consult the signs/oracles/experts of choice; to research and perhaps look to the way of the Ancients if this is correct for you.

Is it time to step back and to do some more checking?

Are you gaining insight into previously hidden behaviour/patterns?

This is the point of Mercury Retrograde; not to simply frustrate nor delay us, but to offer us the chance to see what was hereto missed.

To re-visit, re-do and to tie up all loose ends, so that we can continue from a stronger, more informed position.

The opposition to Neptune hints at heightened intuition and this along with the trine to Pluto is a further reminder that it is important to remain in your power at this time, so as not to be swayed by others or to fall prey to confusion, imagined worries and/or doubt.

The Moon’s degree raises a point about tolerance and relinquishing the need to be right (which can be a Virgo tendency). Is it really worth the argument?

If we’ve never walked in someone else’s shoes then we cannot possibly know what is right for them.

Stay true to your own heart, your own path and keep the faith. We cannot know where it will lead, but it’s important to remember that life has our back.

It is the fear that arises from our own minds that can keep us held back or held in chains when we fear ‘the shadows’.

Remember to look for planets in your personal birth chart that fall around 9 degrees; especially of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces).

If you find any, then this Eclipse may affect you to a stronger degree and the actions that you take now could be life-changing.

It can also be enlightening to check your children’s charts (if you are a parent).

The New Moon/Eclipse will fall on September 1st at 07:03pm here in Brisbane (AEST).

Remember that New Moons are a great time to meditate, set intentions, plant the seeds of new beginnings and to cleanse your crystals.
