Surrender to Separation and Shine – New Moon in Aquarius

be-uniquely-you

If a man bestowed with a fart synonym for a surname can become president of the United States – what’s holding you back?

Could Donald have done us all a favour?

The New Moon will exact on 28th January at 10:06:57am here in Brisbane (AEST); bringing forth a potential new beginning in the area of your chart where 8degrees and 15seconds of Aquarius resides.

The Sabian Symbol for this degree is: “A Flag Is Seen Turning Into An Eagle” and it’s very in-keeping with the energy of Aquarius.

What flag are you waving and is it time to embody all the ideals and beliefs that you keep talking about?

We tap into a huge amount of personal power when we choose to be that which we aspire to.

Instead of just talking about it, which can lead to stagnant and frustrated energy and can bring on a sense of being the victim (disempowerment) and the feeling that we are being thwarted by life.

So,ย  what is it that’s holding you back?

Fear of being different?…

… that you’ll suddenly be seen as a sponge cake short of a trifle?

Possible rejection?

Worry of others’ judgement, ridicule or jealousy?

Or maybe you’re keeping your inner innovator on lock down, because you fear the isolation that going it alone may mean when you literally have to stick your neck out above the crowd.

Perhaps you stifle your spontaneous quirkiness through shyness or a feeling of inadequacy …

… or perhaps you’re still living with a belief system that you inherited in childhood that being different is somehow wrong?

We all have Aquarius energy somewhere within our psyche and we all need to embrace our individuality if we are to truly feel whole …

… so go on!!, let your strange shine out and embrace your eccentric side ๐Ÿ™‚

The Sabian Symbols for this New Moon seem very in-keeping with the political climate in America at the minute; especially with the quest degree of this symbol being :”A Man Who Had For A Time Become The Embodiment Of An Ideal Is Made To Realise That As A Person He Is Not This Ideal”.

Seriously, let that sentence sit for a while.

Read it again and think about it…

None of us are perfect and yes, we can be very quick to judge others for their foibles; especially those in the lime light.

But consider this for a minute – how much energy are you expending on the drama that is being emitted from the NEWS right now?

And… if you look at your own life – are you really the true embodiment of what you know you could be?

How about you turn off the TV, put down the Newspaper and stop letting yourself be distracted?

What are you not doing to honour your unique and separate self?

Where do you need to do more walking and less talking?

and where do you feel the need to break out right now and shake things up a little?

Aquarius is the sign of the humanitarian, the rebel and the progressive game changer, but as a fixed sign, it can also lend itself to rigidity.

We can get so caught up in our own ideas of what should be that we forget that not everyone is on the same page.

Astrology (also ruled by Aquarius) reminds us of that.

When we look at the variances in people’s energy fields (as indicated by their individual birth chart) it can really help with understanding the different journeys that we all walk.

I’m not one to watch the NEWS often, so I’m really no expert on politicians, but if history has taught us anything it’s that propaganda can be very real.

Therefore, I err on the side of caution and choose not to be overly judgemental about anyone whom I’ve not personally sat down with for ten minutes.

However, if a man bestowed with a fart synonym for a surname can become president of the United States, I say he’s done us all a favour

Seriously – the World is made up of many people and there will never be a one size fits all – because we are all so different!!

So, stop trying to be like everyone else and let yourself stand out from the crowd for once.

Strong Aquarian energy in a person can make that person appear aloof and emotionally-distant and with a Venus/Saturn Square in operation under this New Moon, you may feel like you need some space or, alternatively, that you’re being pushed out or excluded in some way.

Is it time for greater independence?

Saturn teaches us lessons and when he squares up to Venus we’re talking relationship lessons or perhaps financial ones.

Venus in Pisces wants romance, rose-tinted glasses and to merge with another – to literally dissolve into their essence.

It wants to lose all boundaries, to escape into a fantasy World, to be rescued and to avoid that dreaded ‘R’ word that Saturn does so well – ‘responsibility’.

Saturn teaches us limitation and reminds us that we exist in a material World.

In Sagittarius, he’s asking us to take responsibility for our own freedom, our personal beliefs and our individual growth; to not wait for some projection of an idealised politician to come and save us.

Saturn in Sagittarius wants us to work on bringing our own, personal vision to life so that we can live as an inspiration to others.

So that we can become the embodiment of the dream that Venus in Pisces has placed up on the pedestal.

Note that Aquarius is idealistic and individual, innovative and independent…

… All words that begin with ‘I’.

What can you bring to the group (to the society that you live in) as an Individual?

What does your unique imprint offer to the World and where can it Improve it?

The negative side of Saturn in Sagittarius can present as harshly judgemental and moralistic whereas Venus in Pisces is gentle, forgiving and compassionate.

Venus in Pisces can have a tendency to disappointment when disillusionment strikes and the beloved falls from the pedestal, but Saturn teaches that through commitment things can be worked through and evolved.

When these two energies form a difficult aspect it can be difficult to marry them, so be aware of where this dichotomy may be sitting with you and in your life right now.

What Gifts do you bring? – The Sun Moves into Aquarius

sun-moves-into-aquarius-paid

Tomorrow morning (20th January 2017) at 07:24am (AEST) the Sun will enter the sign of Aquarius signalling a month to honourย  innovation, individuality and your unique self.

What gifts do you bring to humanity when you stand in the light of your own truth?

What are you here to do/to be/to offer?

Aquarius ushers forth the humanitarians, the renegades and the misfits of society; those with a message that is often far too futuristic for some to grasp and yet this energy is needed if the World is to continue to evolve to a higher frequency.

How do you share your heart and your love with the collective?

What is your individual contribution to the group?

Aquarius can also be associated with the inner rebel and the eccentrics of this Earth.

When we feel different we can feel excluded from the World around us, rejected and alone.

Find your tribe – the ones that make you feel that you are home and love them with all your heart for they are your soul family, your supporters and the ones that will help you to shine.

Be wary of a tendency for overt rebellion and dogmatism.

Much Love, Toria xo

Heightened Sensitivity, Volatility and Family Love- Full Moon in Cancer January 2017

heightened-sensitivity-volatility-and-family-love1

January’s Full Moon will exact on 12th January at 09:34pm (AEST).

Remember that the week leading up to a Full Moon can illuminate the shadow side and magnify personal and/or relationship issues in need of healing and love.

Increased Sensitivity

With this Full Moon forming a kite with Chiron, Mars and the Black Moon (also in water signs), increased sensitivity and receptivity is likely along with heightened intuition.

Honour your feminine side (males and females), withdraw for a while if needs be and be alert for any triggers related to your emotional depth, sexuality or your vulnerability.

Home and Family

Cancer is the sign connected to home and family (physical or soul family), so this a beautiful Moon to give gratitude to your home for its shelter, warmth and protection and to your family for the love and nurture that you share.

Perhaps by purchasing something beautiful for your abode that enhances its ambiance or elevates its vibration and in turn makes you, and those who share it ,feel nurtured, loved and special.

Having a safe haven to retreat to could be just the ticket right now; especially if you’re feeling quiet or overwhelmed, either by your own intimate World or by your perspective on the wider World.

Remember that inner peace becomes outer peace and try to stay in your heart as much as is possible in the lead up to this Full Moon.

Cancer energy loves to care for others and with all the intuition available to you under this Moon’s energy you may know just what others need.

Be supportive and call upon those who support you, if needed.

Volatile Reactions

Of course, Full Moons can also highlight problems around relating and this one appears to be quite action packed with a T Square between The Moon, Jupiter, Uranus and The Sun/Pluto Conjunction.

That’s power-full energy!!

Drama and Power Struggles could be an issue right now and you may find yourself, events or others around you reactive, volatile or prone to eruptions right now.

Deep feelings could surface and require purging and Mars square to Saturn could bring up some angst around frustration or an inability to act on instinct.

If things have gotten to the point where something has to give, then that may just happen around this Full Moon.

Be aware of a tendency to judge others or yourself now and remember we’re all doing the best we can with what we’ve been given.

Be Love, Be Understanding, Be Tolerance as much as is possible and don’t beat yourself up with self-deprecation when you’re not in that place.

Feel, Honour and Release – Step Away From The Sugar

Nurture your body with healthful foods and steer away from a sugar overload, which could be used as a way to placate uncomfortable feelings.

Instead, try feeling into your emotions, go for a walk with them, sit by a waterfall and let them flow over you or write them out and express them.

Feeling is often healing.

Potential for Sudden Change

There could also be surprising opportunities, sudden epiphanies or unexpected changes now that require action.

Use that Saturn/Mars energy to pause, reflect and assert rather than react and with Mercury at the final degree of Sagittarius, let your inner wisdom be your guide.

Powerful change and transformation could certainly be on the cards for some.

What Area of your Life is this Full Moon Highlighting?

Remember to check your chart and to look for where 22 degrees and 27 seconds of Cancer and 22 degrees and 27 seconds of Capricorn fall.

What houses are these and which area of life do they represent?

Do you have any planets sitting around 22 degrees within your chart? What do they represent in your life?

If you’d like help with figuring this out you can sign up to my newsletter here and receive my free EBook “Introductory Tips for Astrological Self Awareness”.

You can also use the same link to sign up for my Lunar Updates and be alerted as the Moon goes through her eight stages each month. This is a great way to track your intention setting and to tune into your own emotional ebb and flow.

Time to Relinquish Judgement and To Open to Optimism & Trust – Mercury Reverses into Sagittarius

http___www-motherearthastrology-com2

At 12:17am this morning (AEST) Mercury reversed into Sagittarius on his retrograde journey.

With Mercury currently disposited by Jupiter in Libra, you may now receive insights that enable you to reflect upon your relationships; family or otherwise.

Where do you feel stifled and uninspired?

Is it time to consider how you can rework your life to honour your desire for greater freedom, truth, growth and adventure?

What aspects need to be relinquished, restructured or at least reviewed?

With the Moon in Aries from 02:20am Thursday 5th January until 06:18am Saturday 7th January (AEST), be aware of situations that trigger impatience, intolerance, moralistic attitudes, self-righteousness and judgement.

Sagittarius energy has a reputation for being blunt and when coupled with reactive Aries energy, you may find it difficult to count to ten before blurting out a few “home truths”.

What are those emotions attempting to alert you to and what can you learn from them?

Perhaps there’s a need for more optimism, generosity of spirit and acceptance either of others or of self?

Perhaps there’s a need to let go and forgive and to remember that we’re all doing the best that we can with the life that we’ve been given.

How connected do you feel to your spiritual self, your inner guidance and your innate wisdom?

Do you feel a need to refine this connection or to re-examine your spiritual beliefs?

For more possible expressions of Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius click here.

Mercury will turn direct on Sunday 8th January.

Until then, make the most of this time to redo your life; opening to trust and relinquishing fears and negative beliefs.

Think positive and get your optimism on ๐Ÿ™‚

With Love, Toria xo
