Neptune Transits – What are They, What’s the Point and What to Watch For…

Neptune Transits

As a keen leaner of all things astrological, I’ve read plenty of books on Neptune transits, I’ve taken the courses and I’ve listened to experiences of those going through them, but as with anything, it’s not until you actually experience one that you really get a feel for this energy.

Right now I have Neptune activating both Mars and Mercury in my chart and boy am I feeling it!!

What are Transits?

A transit is the term used to describe what happens when a planet (in its current positionmoving through the sky), comes within contact of a planet within your birth chart.

This contact triggers an energetic reaction and, depending on the planet involved and the energy of the person, it can have profound results.

Transits consist of a first hit (when the Planet first connects with your chart), a second hit (when the planet turns retrograde, appears to move backwards and re-contacts the same position in your chart again) and a 3rd hit (when the Planet, now moving direct, re-contacts that chart point).

If you’re really lucky, you may get five hits depending on the degree being transited and the orb of the transiting planet to your chart planet.

Lucky me! I’m getting 5 hits of Neptune and right now I’m at that very first hit.

The Beginning

The first hit of any transit can be the most disorientating. There you are, going through your ‘normal’ life, doing what you do – in the way you ‘normally’ do it – and Wham!!

In the case of Neptune this can be particularly difficult, as Neptune tends to dissolve what it touches.

With Mars, it dissolves your energy, motivation, the way that you take action and assert for what it is that you want or desire.

With Mercury, it dissolves the way that you think, your words (often mid sentence) and your ability to communicate as effectively in your usual manner.

With the Sun, it dissolves your self-expression, your will to shine as an individual.

With the Moon, it dissolves your emotional boundaries, adds sensitivity and can bring on moodiness, which rises and dissipates in the blink of an eye.

With Venus it can dissolve your values, what you desire and even relationships; especially those that are not based in truth, but operate from a place of deception.

The Middle

The second hit of a transit tends to be less shocking.

You already have a feel for what you’re in for now and this period can be described as your ‘being in the thick of it’.

Often it is between this point and the final pass that most adjustments are made.

The End (Final Pass)

The final contact of the transiting planet to your natal planet signals that the transit is coming to an end, although it will not be over until the transiting planet passes completely out of range (usually within 1 degree, sometimes longer for the big outer planet transits (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto).

As the final pass is made it often coincides with a more integrated feel around the energy that the transit has bought to you and a greater awareness of what it has all been about.

How Does a Neptune Transit Feel?

The exact nature of the transit depends on a few factors:

  • The planet or point that Neptune is contacting in your chart
  • The sign of that planet (or point – i.e. Ascendant, Midheaven, Black Moon…)
  • The sign that Neptune is travelling through
  • The influence of your natal Neptune placement within your birth chart (and therefore within your energy)
  • The aspects that the planet, which Neptune is transiting, makes to other planets within your natal chart
  • The other transits that are activating your chart at the time of the Neptune transit
  • Your current physical, emotional and spiritual state

Neptune Transits can:

  • Increase your sense of idealism, your sensitivity, your compassion and your drive to help others
  • Enhance your imagination
  • Cause Confusion, Disorientation, Vagueness, Tiredness and Lethargy
  • De-motivate, discourage and distract you from where you thought you were headed
  • Bring up feelings of overwhelm, exhaustion, self-doubt/doubt regarding your path,
  • Lower your Immunity, trigger allergy responses, bring on anxiety and foreboding (lack of trust)
  • Dissolve boundaries; potentially leaving you open to deception
  • Increase romantic feelings and oneness
  • Open you up to greater levels of beauty and love
  • Find you wanting to bliss/zone out more
  • Heighten meditation experiences
  • Have you feeling like a victim and wanting to be rescued.
  • Totally turn you into Dory from Finding Nemo!!
  • Bring about illness or dis-ease that is difficult to diagnose/treat
  • Bring disappointment(s); especially in the case of inflated idealism, rose-tinted glasses and pedestals
  • Increase Intuition/Psychic Insight
  • Connect you with trapped grief and resentment (buried anger), which can result in bouts of depression
  • Be very disconcerting if you like to be in control

So, What’s the Point?

Now this is the important bit.

What exactly is all this about?

Neptune rules the Oceans; the watery, vast, untapped depths and he removes by dissolving; eventually washing away what no longer serves, bringing about transformation.

The level of transformation is, as always, dependent on how a person chooses to respond to the events, feelings and circumstances that the transit brings about/highlights within their life.

The pull to drink or to escape in other ways under a Neptune influence can be strong, but what Neptune really wants you to do is feel.

  • He wants you to feel the disappointments, the losses, the pain that resides within your soul and he wants to help you to release, cleanse and purify them.
  • Neptune wants you to slow down, to smell the roses and to spend a certain amount of your day dreaming, visualising and imagining what it is that you would like within your life.
  • He wants to open you up to possibilities, to beauty, to a deeper capacity for love, to soften you and to introduce you to a higher spiritual plain.
  • Neptune transits are fantastic opportunities to enrich your spiritual and creative life.
    • Pain,
    • Draw,
    • Play with the children in your life,
    • Lay down in the Sun,
    • Swim in the Ocean,
    • Write a story,
    • Sing,
    • Dance
    • Put a daily mediation practice in place.
  • Anything that takes you to a place of connection and oneness right now is where you will likely find your bliss (your happy place).
  • Tune into your intuition and the promptings of your spiritual (higher) self.
    • What energises you at the minute?
    • What depletes you or causes stress?
    • What is this highlighting for you, what needs to change and is there anything that you can do about that?
  • Get comfortable with not knowing, nurture your spiritual connection and tune into your heart whenever you feel discomfort around where you’re headed. Allow yourself to be guided, tune in and have faith.
  • Clear your fears as they arise.
  • This is a great time to carry out forgiveness rituals, to gently release your anger/resentment/frustration by writing it out and burning it (releasing it back to the Earth). Whatever you can relinquish now will free up space for newness to come in.
  • Because Neptune transits heighten sensitivity this is a time for gentleness; to allow yourself to soften.
  • This is not a good time to push, but to instead tune into the rhythm of life as it currently is (likely pretty slow!). Try to adapt to this slower pace of life and enjoy it.
  • When it comes to communication and interpretation, it is wise to check and double-check now (especially if Mercury or the 3rd house of your birth chart are activated). Misunderstandings can arise around not being in possession of all the facts. Neptune’s vague and confused effect can make interpretation tricky.
  • Keep a clear head (as much as is possible with the Neptune association with fogginess) and ensure that you are especially careful around financial and romantic involvements – especially those that involve deception on some level.
  • Be aware of victim-martyr-complex scenarios that may play out at this time. Although you can help others, the only person you can really save is yourself and the ultimately, the only person that can save you is you.
  • If you’re feeling a sense of dis-ease, dis-comfort or are under the weather it’s wise to get it checked by someone you trust.

As an example of that last point, with Neptune squaring my Mars at the same time as a Mars activation to my Saturn, I made the decision to get a blood test, as I was recognising the symptoms of anaemia and it was no surprise to find that my Iron and B12 Levels were low.

I’m a pretty healthy vegetarian, but I have a tendency towards anaemia due to heavy menstruation, so no matter how much goodness I put in, my Iron sores always seem to be dissipating. I have a Mars/Neptune contact natally too, so it’s not surprising.

Unfortunately, until I can heal the energetic component around that it will tend to continue (and especially so under such afflictions to my natal Mars).

I also have a Moon/Pluto square, which is indicative of the heavy periods.

I feel that on some level this is related to me owing greater levels of my personal power and putting more healthful boundaries around how I’m using and sharing my energy, but I really don’t know how else to change this right now.

Any ideas greatly welcome 🙂

As with all transits, the important thing is to note how it makes you feel.

What does this particular Neptune transit bring up for you?

What insights are you able to gauge about yourself and where can you work with all of this insight to make your future self more comfortable and content?

New Moon in Taurus

This month’s New Moon will exact in the sign of Taurus on 15th May 2018 at 09:48pm here in Brisbane (AEST, GMT+10)

Art, Abundance and Physical Manifestation

Taurus is an Earth sign, which is ruled by Venus.

Therefore, think Art, Abundance and Physical manifestation as we move into this New Moon energy.

What makes you feel abundant?

What do you find beautiful?

What worth do you place on yourself and your own talents?

With plenty of Earth energy in this New Moon chart; including a sesquiquadrate to Saturn in Capricorn and a trine to Mars in the same sign, consider taking responsibility for where you want to create some solid results this Lunar Month…

… and remember – where your thoughts go, energy flows, so set some clear intentions, draw up a manifestation board and plan out the next phase of your life story.

What are you going to set in motion?

As Venus moves to square Chiron expect some heightened sensitivity related to beauty and; specifically what you find beautiful.

You may even find yourself moved to tears over this during the course of this Lunar Month or experience a heart-opening moment or two.

For some, an influential teacher or mentor may help to move you forward.

Get Excited about What Your Heart Longs to Express!!

Uranus (at the anuretic degree and poised to enter Taurus soon after this New Moon exacts) sits conjunct Mercury and square to Mars so whatever your plans, get excited!! and make sure that they offer you plenty of freedom!!

With Jupiter in Scorpio sextiling Pluto in Capricorn and both planets engaging with this New Moon, there’s plenty of energy to dig deep and create something tangible; potentially bringing yourself some powerful transformation and growth along the way, so make sure that whatever you’re building is aligned with your passions.

Venus (as the ruler of this chart) sits in Mercury’s sign (Gemini) and there’s a beautiful mutual reception with Mercury sitting in Venus’ sign (Taurus).

Mutual receptions are ‘double-whammy’ flags that Astrologers take note of and this energy is very self-expressive.

How do you want to communicate your heART with the World?

Money, Money, Money and the Quest for Financial Freedom

Money is likely to be a hot topic for the next 7 years beginning with Uranus’ ingress into Taurus just over 3 hours after this New Moon exacts.

If your way of earning a living feels constricting in any way (i.e. your work bores you terribly, or there’s an all work/no play kind of energy) then expect Uranus to trigger an almost in-suppressible feeling of rebellion within you; inspiring you to change it up (or bust you clean out of that rut); especially apt if Uranus happens to be hitting your chart at this time.

The quest for financial freedom, the pressing need to attend to future financial security and the question of what brings physical security and safety is likely to feature.

For more musings on what Uranus through Taurus could bring for us, here’s my report on that energy.

One thing is certain, however, Uranus brings change and usually of the unexpected kind, so if this energy is hitting your chart, hold onto your hat and try to go with the flow as much as you can.

Trust that the path you are taken on is opening you up to bigger and better things.

Well-Thought Out and Measured Progress

You’ll likely be brimming with inspired ideas (especially if this New Moon is hitting your chart (see below) or if you have any planets around 28 to 0 degress that are being contacted by Uranus right now).

… the strong Capricorn/Taurus energy is asking that you take your time to ensure that what you’re manifesting is well-thought out.

Take the time to plan, feel into what you’re trying to create and let it settle before hitting the ‘Go’ button.

Taurus is tactile energy – let all of your senses engage with this one and only act on it when it feels right.

The Ground Beneath Your Feet

Taurus is the sign most associated with Mother Earth.

How connected do you feel to the Planet that you live on?

Do you feel that she is a living, thriving organism too?

When you walk in nature or swim in the Ocean how do you feel?

Grounded? Connected? Refreshed?

When you get out in Sunlight do you feel enlivened and energised?

When you eat fresh, colourful fruits and vegetables does your body respond in healthful ways?

Maybe there’s a reason for that…

If you’re feeling a lack of connection then visualising roots growing from your feet and down into the Earth as part of your morning ritual may help.

Take some deep breaths, get really relaxed, close your eyes and imagine those roots growing deep down into the ground.

Once they’re really deep, imagine Mother Earth sending her energy back up through those roots and into your body; filling and nourishing your cells.

Keep breathing and visualising/sensing that energy fill your entire body.

Now open your eyes – better?

Taking the Time to Value your Body

If your health has been less than good, maybe you can consider making an intention this month to place greater value on the body that has taken you through life to date.

I’m a big believer in ‘prevention is better than cure’.

What action can you take under this new moon that will show your body some love and ensure that the next part of your life is the most healthful part of your life?

Taurus is sensual and tactile energy – massage, a facial, warm epsom salt baths with essential oils and music that soothes the soul may lift you this month.

If, like me, you like a good bar of chocolate you may also like to check out Pana Chocolate and indulge in some raw cacao goodness – so delicious and my favourite chocolate of all time!!

Can you take the time to slow down and put yourself first?

Giving Gratitude for What Makes you Feel Secure

Successful manifestors teach us that to attract more into our lives we have to foster gratitude for what we already have.

Lighting a candle and sending up a prayer of thankfulness as the New Moon exacts will be a beautiful way to welcome in the energy of the Taurus New Moon.

Be thankful for a warm bed, the food you eat, the safety that you feel within your home/your community and magnify that energy out into the space around you.

Consider visualising a ball of light filled with this energy of gratitude, safety and abundance.

Imagine it growing and encompassing the World with the intention that all living beings can feel that sense of abundance, comfort, love and safety at this time.

What’s in Need of Healing and Potential Relationship Angst

Chiron’s aspect to Venus can bring up issues around feminine energy, lack, the sense of belonging or insecurities with Artistic talents and Worth.

Jealousy, Rivalry, Relationship Angst, Possessiveness, Materialism and the Inability to Value one’s own Beauty may arise.

If you find yourself connecting (or re-connecting) with such a pain point this lunar month, try writing out how you feel, sitting with how this makes your feel and allowing it to arise.

Often such contemplation can do wonders for our self-understanding and once we really let ourselves feel into our pain, we start to understand it and find ways to move through it.

Writing out feelings is also a great way to gain greater self understanding.

Prepare for a Different Type of Change as Uranus Enters Taurus – The Sky God meets the Earth Goddess – (and a quick recap over the past 7 years of Uranus in Aries)…

What Happens when the Sky God (Uranus) Enters the Sign of the Earth Goddess (Taurus)_.png

Shortly after this month’s New Moon exacts, Uranus will move from Aries into the sign of Taurus sparking another 7 year cycle of innovation.

I love that the New Moon in Taurus plays its part here – of course it does!!

New Moons signal new beginnings and Uranus moving into Taurus will certainly prompt changes in the very things we associate with the sign of Taurus.

Synchronicity is the bomb!!

So, how is this going to affect you on a personal level?

First, let’s take a recap of what’s happened over the last 7 years of Uranus in Aries!!

Uranus in Aries – a Recap…

Uranus entered Aries late May 2010 and boy have I changed since then!

How about you?

Uranus brings awakening, innovation and yes – change!! and as he moved through Aries he bought it fast!

Fast-paced, sudden decisions and an enormous amount of growth.

Not surprisingly,The Uranus into Aries ingress chart took place with Uranus conjunct Jupiter (the planet of growth) placed in Pisces.

We’ve seen veganism and heightened concern for animal rights and our fellow human beings shift to greater heights during this time.

Wise and awakened souls inspired us to take charge of our own lives; to begin a ‘grassroots revolution’ against the outdated and often tyrannical systems that have been placed in our society and there have been heated debates on all kind of topics (gun laws, wars, pharmaceutical practices to name a few…) as Uranus encountered the sign of the Self and the Warrior!

Uranus opposed Saturn in that ingress chart; signalling likely rebellion against authority,  change to the structures upon which society is built and the fighting for personal rights.

… and with a trine to the Moon, there has also been a welcomed rise in the awareness of self-care during this time and the awakening to our innate connection with Mother Earth.

As we move into the next 7 years it will be interesting to see what becomes of what the last 7 years have given birth to.

Are you ready?

Uranus into Taurus

So, what happens when the Sky God (Uranus) meets the Earth Goddess (Venus-ruled Taurus)?

Fulgarite apparently! Google it – it’s pretty impressive!

Yes, when lightening strikes sand, it creates a type of crystal of hollowed out glass, which makes sense being as glass is after-all created from heating silica.

I find this imagery quite apt when considering what Uranus in Taurus could bring.

If Aries is the sign of birth, of the new, of the pioneer …

… and Taurus is the sign of manifestation, then the next 7 years are going to be interesting in relation to what is now physically created.

What will we see when we look out of our windows in the year 2026, as Uranus makes his way into Gemini?

A Change in Tempo

If you feel as if time has sped up and you’ve had a hand on your back pushing you forward to change things quickly over the last 7 years, Uranus in Taurus is likely to bring a welcome change in tempo.

Putting our material and emotional security first above all else is likely to be an important manifestation of the next 7 years.

Taking Responsibility for the Earth

Not only is Taurus the sign that we most associate with the Earth, but there is a great deal of Earth energy – Taurus (Mercury, Sun, Moon) and Capricorn (Mars, Saturn, Pluto, Black Moon) overall in the ingress chart as Uranus makes his move into this sign.

Add to that a square between Uranus and Mars and it’s likely that taking responsibility for the Earth and her resources will be a huge topic over the next 7 years.

Expect sustainability to be a biggie as well as a strong drive to manifest your inspirations on a personal level.

*The Ground Beneath Your Feet/Your Roots/Belonging

Those experiencing Uranus transits during this time may find themselves questioning their sense of belonging and there my be a strong pull to to one’s roots; especially if the Moon or 4th house are involved.

House and Location moves that take place now are likely to be well-thought out and considered.

Signals from the Body

With Uranus conjunct to Mercury in the ingress chart (an ingress chart is a chart for the time that Uranus moves into Taurus), I would expect self care to remain a strong theme.

Taurus is Venus-ruled and associated with our physical bodies (the physical manifestation of our spirit self), so addressing the needs of the body and continued awakening to what these needs actually are is a strong contender.

The more people that awaken to our connection to the Earth and the mis-use of chemicals and toxins in the food chain, the greater the rise in demand for organic and bio-dynamic produce is likely and perhaps it will be this demand that drives down the cost of what can sometimes be viewed as an expensive choice.

More and more people are waking up to what nourishment of the body entails.

Uranus can bring shocks and disruption when he transits a sign and for some this could manifest as an illness that serves as a wake up call around what is being put into and onto their bodies.

Uranus through Aries seemed to bring lots of skin reactions in the shape of Eczema and Psoriasis.

Taurus rules the throat, so it will be interesting to see what throat-related ailments could transpire.

Perhaps there will be insights into Tonsillitis or Thyroid-related illnesses.

Inna Segal’s book ‘The Secret Language of Your Body’ is a great one when correlating the emotional cause with the disease.

Awakening to Sensual Needs & Beauty and the Possibility of a few Sky Gods and Earth Goddesses Showing Up!

Venus-ruled Taurus also governs our sense of beauty and the role of the five senses – seeing, smelling, touching, hearing and tasting.

Awakening to the beauty of the Earth, the nourishment of the food she supplies us with, to our own sensuality and physical needs … could be one manifestation, as could the realisation of the need for touch in our everyday lives.

… a greater need for physical connection, as we move through this technological age and the potential of emotional ailments caused by a lack of this.

We may even find that the touch screen has been taken to a whole other level by the end of this period, but I so hope the latter takes precedence!

Uranus brings zinging, electrical energy and when this is merged with the sign of beauty, magic could happen – let’s watch out for the arrival of a few Earth Gods and Goddesses appearing over this next 7 years – perhaps on the T.V, on Social Media or in your own life!

Inspirational people often appear to lead us down the path to self discovery, so remember to celebrate and own your own beauty during this period!!

Let’s also hope for a rise in cruelty-free beauty products – make up, hair treatments, facial products…

Money, Your Worth and Security

Taurus is a sign strongly associated with what makes us feel safe and secure and Uranus in Taurus can trigger reversals of fortune – both upturns and downturns due to the erratic and sudden energy of Uranus.

All of this can trigger deep insecurity and awaken us to how tightly we might be hanging onto the material within our lives.

There may be innovations related to monetary systems or perhaps further progress towards a cashless society.

Mercury conjunct Uranus in the ingress chart may signal awakenings around your belief system; perhaps related to your views on abundance and how much you value yourself, or perhaps there’s some rigid thinking that is preventing new life from coming through that you’ll be asked to look at during this time.

This also poses the question of how you make your money.

Maybe there will be new insights around better ways to earn your income. Uranus wants to liberate you and free you and money can certainly bring a level of freedom.

… and of course there’s the crazy way of the World with Governments seemingly spending millions on war machines and placing precedence over this rather than seeking to fund projects to help eradicate poverty and starvation.

This too may become a hot topic in the voices that wish to stand up for a better World.

As I write this there’s a debate going on on the radio talking about the rise in homelessness in our young people and the terrible ways that they are made to feel outcast by society – for example the changing of bus stop benches to stop homeless people being able to sleep on them 😦

If you’d like to support Homie in their quest to create pathways out of homelessness, you can find out more here.

Speaking/Voicing/Communicating/Creating and Innovative Art

Ruling the voice, Taurus is the sign of the singer.

If there is something creative that you want to communicate to the World; through singing, writing or other Art forms, now may be the time that you become flooded with ideas or perhaps you’ll find an inspired way forward.

Do you speak your truth or do you prefer to keep the peace? With Uranus here, you may find it difficult to hold your tongue; especially if Uranus activates your natal Mercury over this time…

… but the more aggressive ‘fight for change energy’ that the last seven years bought is likely to step aside now finding messages delivered in a more measured and practical way.

When speaking of singers and unusual/ground-breaking voices, we can’t go past Sam Perry, who appeared on The Voice this week.

How apt that he is hitting the mainstream now.

It certainly seems that this talented man is going to be bringing a few changes to the music industry and I expect we’ll be hearing more from him over the next few years.

You can check Sam here.

It’s amazing the way he records his voice and loops it to create the tracks; resulting in a song where nothing but his voice has made up the music, rhythm and song.

Art may also take on new forms during this period.

Volatility and Anger as Defence

When Mercury retrograded through Aries a few weeks ago we all had a few lessons to learn around impatience, delays, haste and how we handle irritations.

Chiron’s ingress into Aries is offering us the chance to bring healing to what causes our anger responses and later this year, Mars will turn retrograde gifting the opportunity for some further inner exploration around this emotion.

Yes, anger remains a hot topic this year and with Uranus square to Mars in the ingress chart there is a caution here to be mindful of how you react under what you might perceive as stressful situations.

Uranus; especially when he connects strongly with your personal chart can bring sudden change, unexpected events and erratic happenings.

His influence within your personal energy field can cause increased mental stimulation, ailments of the nervous system, un-groundedness and anxiety.

The best way to move through a Uranus transit? Breathe, meditate, slow down as much as you can.

Increase your intake of magnesium and potassium.

Connect with the Earth – walk in nature, swim in the Ocean, lay on the ground, hug a tree or visualise roots going down from your feet and the base of your spine into the Earth below.

And go with the flow as much as you can.

Try to be open to change, to trust that the Universe is on your side and to let go of any rigidity or stubbornness that may need to be relinquished.

Where is this energy likely to play out within your life?

Where does the sign of Taurus reside in your birth chart and where is Uranus likely to bring change to you?

Does it cover one house (area of life) or a couple?

The Wounded Warrior Offers Some Insight into Pain, Anger and Motivation as Chiron Enters Aries

The Wounded Warrior Offers Some Insight into Pain, Anger and Motivation as Chiron Enters Aries

Chiron Enters Aries.png

Chiron is often referred to as “The Wound Which Makes Us Wise*” or “The Wounded Healer**”and his placement within your birth chart indicates a place where you feel a deep psychological (or sometimes physical) wound of some kind.

By sign (expression/type of wound) and house (area of life), Chiron indicates a pain point 💔 and something that your soul will be called to acknowledge and heal.

For those of us who were born between April 1968 and early 1978 when Chiron last transited this sign♈️ it also means that we’re on our way to our Chiron Return, which occurs around age 50.
* please note that between mid October 1968 to late January 1969 Chiron briefly re-entered Pisces. Therefore, please check your chart to confirm Chiron’s sign*

When Chiron returns to the point he was at during birth, the subsequent years can bring enormous insight into these wounds and (for those willing to do the work) an opportunity for healing 💚

His transits; regardless of our age (contacts to our birth chart he makes as he travels through the sky) can be profoundly opening💗

Chiron in Aries♈️ in the birth chart usually manifests as a wound around your right to exist/to be or as Melanie Reinhardt so aptly puts it the sense that “Who I am, is not acceptable”.

There can sometimes be an early life where your unique trailblazing enthusiasm seemed to always be put down (perhaps even ridiculed) or physical/vocal aggression was experienced or perhaps anger was present, but more subliminal.

Later these types of experiences can manifest personally as feeling powerless or lacking vitality and/or motivation.

In some this can appear as depression.

If you have Chiron in Aries, you inherently carry archetypal warrior energy, but the conundrum can be in how you direct this.

Sometimes your desire to speak up can be met with resistance or trigger unexpected aggression in others and many with this placement can find self assertion difficult.

As Chiron continues to move through Aries♈️ remain aware of these themes (whether he was in this sign at your birth or not).

If they resonate with you, allow Chiron to weave his magic💫

Find ways to honour the unique individual that you are…

… then bravely stand up and take your place; perhaps using your innate medicine (the wisdom that Chiron has gifted you) to act on behalf of a cause close to your heart and to help birth a more peaceful time upon this Earth🌏

What drives you?

What do you feel passionate about?

Where do you want to make a difference?

If you find that your words are indeed triggering angry responses or your innovations don’t quite seem to be hitting the mark, you may have to see if there’s something in the delivery of your message that could be causing the issue.

When Mercury retrograded through Aries a few weeks ago it was almost a preliminary for those of us who carry these types of wounds; preparing us for Chrion’s ingress into this same sign.

Were you gifted some insight around the that time about how anger or a lack of motivation/direction could be playing out in your life?

Perhaps in the way you handled irritations, delays or mix ups or perhaps you were able to connect with a strong part of yourself that wanted to give birth something new, but was holding back from a sense of dis-empowerment…

Chiron’s ingress into Aries is offering us the chance to bring healing to what causes our anger responses or a potential lack of drive and motivation.

Later this year, Mars (the ruler of Aries) will also turn retrograde and seemingly move backwards; gifting the opportunity for some further inner exploration around this dynamic.

Yes, anger, assertion and motivation remain a hot topic this year and with Uranus square to Mars as he enters Taurus there is a caution here to be mindful of how you react under what you might perceive as stressful situations.

Perhaps anger will appear as a personal defence mechanism in the face of change.

Anger is usually a sign that our personal values/morals have been violated in some way, that our boundaries have been pushed too far or that someone has touched upon a wounded part of our energy that is in need of some acknowledgement and love.

The most responsible way to deal with anger is firstly by taking responsibility for it, secondly breathing through it and counting to ten and thirdly (hopefully after you’ve had a little mulling time to understand what has really caused you to get so hot under the collar) – responding from a place of love, understanding and compassion for others and yourself.

Although ‘Fighting fire with fire’ is seldom the answer and usually leads to greater levels of aggression, please don’t ever fear your anger nor suppress it.

Suppression of anger can cause much dis-ease within the body and Chiron in Aries may well help many to understand this association – auto-immune diseases, depression, skin rashes, inflammation, tumours, PMS, headaches… can all be indicators of unexpressed anger.

Find a safe outlet, explore your inner pain and allow yourself to be vulnerable.

You really do have to feel it to heal it.

Also be aware of how you can hold others in compassion when you feel their anger arise. Where are they hurting, what wound has been uncovered/needled and what do they most need from you in that moment?

Much Love,

Toria xo ✨💖

Growth Through Letting Go, Transformation, Purging & Honouring Passion – Full Moon in Scorpio- April 2018

Full Moon in Scorpio(1)

If you’d like to receive my New and Full Moon reports in your In-box a little earlier each month, you can sign up to my Newsletter here.

This Lunar Month, the Full Moon will exact in the sign of Scorpio (on April 30th 2018 at 10:57:20am here in Brisbane (AEST, GMT +10) – Click here for a time conversion to your part of the World.

A Rebellious Air Continues

As the Full Moon exacts, Uranus will be at the anuretic (final) degree of Aries continuing the rebellious theme of April and bringing with it a powerful urgency to finally face those things that hold you back from being your most inspired and dynamic self.

With Mars squaring Uranus the drive for freedom and independence will be strong and with Mars also conjunct Pluto – powerful.

This Moon brings a big opportunity for transformation and empowerment.

What are you being urged to do on a personal level and how are you going about it?

What is being Illuminated – Let it Go, Let it Go…

Remember that the build up to a Full Moon tends to illuminate what most requires your attention and this illumination will likely continue until you finally make the necessary changes to acknowledge, feel and heal it.

When that Full Moon falls in Scorpio this can signal intense emotional experiences and an attachment to drama.

The Taurus (Sun) / Scorpio (Moon) polarity can highlight themes around ‘letting go’ vs ‘security’.

Too much holding on can lead to stagnation and both of these signs highlight this tendency.

Scorpio has a tendency towards obsession, ’til death do us part complexes and  enmeshment and Taurus can be possessive, digging in those heels and remaining inflexible in the face of change.

As spiritual beings we are here to undergo regular bouts of transformation and growth and letting go can have the most profound results in bringing us a greater sense of belonging and intimate connection.

Whether that be bravely confronting and unpacking emotional baggage (greater intimacy potential with others), fasting to purge out toxicity (a greater understanding of and connection to your amazing body!!) or embracing change (and realising that the thing you were fearful of actually turned out amazing!!).

The saying “If you love someone, let them go” also applies here. Holding on too tightly can smother, repress and suffocate and it does nothing to help you to feel loved.

When you give someone the freedom to be themselves and room to move and they still love and want to be with you – that’s love and if they move on then perhaps it was never going to work out anyway.

Working on self love, however, will ensure that you’ll attract the healthful, intimate relationships that you need.

What Needs to be Purged/Detoxified?

Scorpio is a deeply psychic sign and with Jupiter also joining the Moon here it could well be time to confront some fears and take a deep dive into the psychological complexes that you’ve been dragging around.

Detoxifying and purging physically, emotionally and mentally not only brings renewed strength and vitality as old emotions are cleared away, but also an enormous amount of growth and empowerment.

On the other hand, power struggles, blaming others for your lot and perceiving yourself as a victim dis-empower you and keep you locked in struggle.

Is it time to take responsibility for toxic emotions?

How comfortable are you with challenging yourself and confronting your fears?

Uranus’ Final Push in the Sign of Aries

Uranus in Aries wants to shake things up and wants fast, dynamic change and progression – right now!!

Cue imaginary hand pushing your back and urging you ever forward.

With Uranus on the powerful last  degree of Aries it may feel like you’re being pushed to your limit this month and especially so as we get closer to the Full Moon.

What is this sense of urgency bringing up for you on an emotional level?

With Jupiter and Pluto both contacting Mars there is plenty of energy around to get things done and Saturn’s Easy Opposition with the Full Moon is imbuing you with the self-discipline and responsibility to take charge.

If your workload is too demanding and unrealistic, however, you’re likely to snap; possibly unleashing a barrage of anger in the direction of whoever has triggered you.

Try to respond (rather than react) before it gets to this point.

How can you lessen that workload?

Do you need more time? More help?

Whatever it is… can you try asking for it in a calm and measured way?

Can you say “No” without feeling guilty?

Uranus Shifts into Taurus – Expect a Gear Change

As Uranus moves into Taurus (May 16th) expect these impatient urgings to slow down somewhat and (hopefully) the pace of your life will now begin to reflect this.

Unpredictable and at times volatile, Uranus is a ‘change master’, but placed in Taurus the speed of that change is likely to be much slower; enabling you to take things more in your stride.

When in Taurus, he wants to awaken us to the needs of the body, to the needs of Mother Earth, to our material attachments and what brings us a sense of comfort and security.

So, expect some personal and global changes around these themes as we move towards our next New Moon.

Scorpio Gifts – Passion and Intimacy

Along with the benefits of a good purge, as listed above, Scorpio energy can connect us with our strongest passions.

What do you get out of bed for?

What excites you and sparks you?

What do you feel deeply about?

Scorpio energy is also the domain of intimacy and magnetic attraction.

If you’re lucky enough to share a strong connection with your partner take the time to enjoy one another this month.

Crank up the Marvin Gaye and get it on – what better way to release tension!!

Scorpio energy can also bring great focus and determination, so consider digging deep in the build up to this Full Moon and channelling all that intensity into something concrete.
